This story will be told through a visual novel where you play as Engelram, a charismatic Aasimon, who teams up with Styrmir, an adventurous Zimeerian, to take on the world and pull themselves up from rock bottom.
Tale of Two is also a two part story! The first part is called 'Plight of False Divinity' and the second part is called 'Divine Punishment'.
In 'Plight of False Divinity': Engelram and Styrmir meet and spend their time conning people to get by. They also meet a strange merchant trying to sell them a magical scroll that promises it will teach Engel new things about its magic.
In 'Divine Punishment': Years have passed, and the two have reached the top. They are now nobles of a city they created and no longer have to struggle to survive. However, their actions in the decades have given them grave consequences to deal with.

The Archangel of Wanderlust
Engelram is the second child of Vretiel, the Aasimonic God of Peace. It was favored by everyone around and was chosen by Vretiel to become an archangel, long before its elder sibling, Ithuriel.
After a very rough situation in which she had to cast her youngest brother, Sabrael, out of the Divine Realm- they decided to leave and venture to Kimarui to get a fresh start.

The Stormy Sorceress
Styrmir is the only remaining member of the Wunderkind family after a strong winter hit her hometown. She is one of the few people born during the Era of Plight to have magic due to its depletion.
She took it upon herself to travel and take in as much of Kimarui as she could, not wanting to have survived and done nothing with it.
